Her company, Dementia Coaching Service, provides caregivers with tools and information that are appropriate for both healthcare professionals and for loved ones of people living with dementia.
Dementia Coaching Service was born of a commitment to serve people in need. We train caregivers to draw upon their own humanity, to learn and practice specific communication techniques as they cultivate the practice of empathy in their approach to care.
As skills and understanding grow through education and practice, the ability of the caregiver to adapt to the needs and behavior of people living with dementia expands, relationships are nurtured, and stress is minimized for all involved.
